What is #GivingTuesday?

Entering its eighth year, #GivingTuesday is a global day of giving fueled by the power of social media and collaboration.

Celebrated on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving in the U.S. and the widely recognized shopping events Black Friday and Cyber Monday, #GivingTuesday kicks off the charitable season, when many focus on their holiday and end-of-year giving. Since 2012, people from all over the world have given over $1 Billion to causes on #GivingTuesday. #GivingTuesday has become a movement that celebrates and supports giving and philanthropy with events throughout the year and a growing catalog of resources.

Why support the Foundation on #GivingTuesday?

Everyone has an organization that is near and dear to their heart. For Arkansas fans everywhere, Razorback Athletics and Razorback student-athletes are at the top of that list.

On Tuesday, Dec. 3, in conjunction with the internationally recognized #GivingTuesday, Razorback fans can donate $25 to help support the student-athletes they love so much. In return they will receive a special ornament only available from the Razorback Foundation during this promotion. These ornaments are limited edition and specially designed to feature the Razorback Baseball and Track & Field programs.
